BOD- Book of Days 2012

Have you heard the word BOD?
Buzzing around the internet... there are well over 900+ artists participating.
This is a FREE art journaling project.
Hosted by Effy Wild , who came up with the idea for this project Book-of-Days.
She invites you, to follow allow along her artful journey, while apply your own
techniques, inspiration, and creativity to your BOD art journal.

What do I need to get started?
Whatever you have already on hand!
No need to make a special trip to the art store.
Be creative!!
This is all about your personal journey, giving yourself permission to play,
and developing an understanding about yourself along the process.

Is there videos, tutorials, any prompts, or a support group?
Absolutely!
Effy is charting her progress through a series of videos.
There is a fantastic support group, which is shared, once you become a member.

If...
you are sitting on the fence about weather or not you
can commit to this project, no worries!!
There is no pressure!
Commitment, yes... to be artful and true to yourself!!
Do what you can, when you can... remember it is all about the journey.

Here is a sneak peek into my BOD... enjoy!
 Altered an old book.

Used material for the inside of the cover.

My chosen "word" for the year.

Pages to follow...
I like working with "loose" pages.
I will bind them all together when the project is completed.

Altered Pocket... Love these!!

This journal pocket will be used for...
printing and placing all my inspiration
quotes and pictures for 2012.

Journal page with tags.

Happy Tuesday!

  6. Beautiful work!!! I LOVE your BOD!!! I'm having a ball with mine. I'm not really following what she is doing, but it gives me inspiration and I've done at least some thing everyday! I put a lot of writing into it. I'm writing personal stuff, real stuff. I'm putting in images that I really like! Or the banana stickers from bananas!
Lots of fun! If you like Lynne Perralla's work, check out her web site! I LOVE her stuff and thought of doing some pages like hers!
