Earth Week!

We are all visitors to this time, this place.
We are just passing through.
Our purpose here is to observe, to learn, to grow, to love, and
then we return home.**

** I did get a chance to post this simple, yet amazingly wonderful art project!!
Using coffee filters, newspapers, and scraps of construction paper our little preschooler's created "Mother Earth" and learned all about making use of other materials.

Progress...

Breathe deep with integrity, keep your chin up.
Mixed-Media 4 x 4 canvas
Thought...
Not everything we do or create has to have a purpose.
Tho, purhaps an impact... is all one needs.

Happy Sunday!

Month of April

"April is the cruelest month, breeding lilacs out of the dead land, mixing memory and desire, stirring dull roots with spring rain. "

Frida Inspired - PAPER DOLL PROJECT

Inspired
I have always been intrigued and completely fascinated by the life of Frida Kahlo.
The life Frida lead, her medical issues, along side ALL the pain she suffered with...
truly showed in her works of art.
Using this template free-frida-kahlo doll, old painted paper, acrylic paints, and a few collage pieces.. I was delighted to create this paper doll in her honor.
