Do you Stipple...?

The proper term for this technique is called
** Stippling **

Stippling is the creation of a pattern simulating varying degrees of solidity or shading by 
using small dots.

  1. Yes, I have stippled! I first tried it after seeing some stippled art at an art fair. It fascinated me and I knew I had to try it. I haven't done any in a long time but after watching that video I think I might like to try it again...only not quite that detailed!

  5. OMG! WOMAN! YIppee I love to stipple. Most people are like...are you whacko? But to me it is calming. It is still art but I can do it in my sleep...Plus I think it takes great patience to stipple. YEs another woman who stipples. woo hoo!

    I agree, this takes repetitive motion with loads of patience... but the outcome of the artwork is worth it!!
