Puzzled...

:: BLOGGER ISSUES ::

MAYDAY!  MAYDAY!
Help me please...
I have ran out of storage space for my photos.
FREE storage space.
Until I can workout the corks, posting to this Blog will be put on hold.

SORRY.

Iam open to any and all ideas or suggestions.

  1. Do you resize your photos before you post them to a 72 dpi and smaller pixel #? I don't like to be bothered to resize mine, so opted for the small fee to have unlimited storage so it just keeps all my photos on Picasa I think. Other than changing the size going forward, I'm afraid I don't know.
I'd written you I couldn't leave comments - there for a while no comment box or comment option showed up anywhere after your posts. Today, it's back. Don't know what that was about, but I'm glad I can comment. Hope you can figure out the storage issue. You may have to move to a different format (wordpress, etc) but what a hassle that would be! Good luck!

    1. Hello Terrie... thank you so much for your feedback.
I know others have stated to me, the issues they are running into, while on my Blog.
I am Puzzled... and disappointed with Blogger!
The old format (template) I used, Blogger informed me, was being phased out.
This was the only reason why I converted to a new template.
Yes, I agree... moving over to a new format, would be a hassle. :[

  2. So sorry to hear that you've run out of space. I've been posting my photos in x-large and it didn't occur to me until now that the size may take up much more storage space. I hope you get this sorted out SOON!!! Happy Thanksgiving to you :)

  3. It's me again....just coming back to suggest that you might want to try reverting back to a different template. I love the look of this but I've noticed that when I comment, it always comes up in duplicate and I can't scroll down when I open various pages here. It's just a thought but I get the feeling there may be some sort of glitch with this particular template for you.

    1. Hi Jane!
Yes, size will take up more storage space... but, I do love the up close photos.
Gives you that "I can feel & touch" effect.
Might downsize. I hope, I do not have to.
I am looking into the issues with Blogger as well, thanks for the FYI.
I have a feeling, having a "free" account has its limitations!
Working on the issue... be back soon.

    1. Hello Lee
Yes, I know... this would solve all issues for me.
I did look into this as a possibility...
With a free Blog tho, I really wish to keep the storage space free as well... if I can! :]

  6. Hi April, The same thing happened to me about a month ago, and I started transferring my photos from my computer to Photobucket to my blog. It is an extra step, but it hasn't proven to be too difficult. I keep the Photobucket settings to Private, so it is ONLY for my blog photos, and no one else can come upon them. Each photo is given a URL address so I can copy it and paste the link in Blogger while I'm transferring the photo. Super easy! I panicked just as you are, but there IS a solution! :-)
