The Plain Truth.
:: face it ::
to look at the truth, dead square in the eye!
It takes courage...
to tell yourself, I will not take this laying down.
The plain truth is... no one should.
I painted this piece
after spending, much needed time evaluating my efforts,
plans, goals, and just how far have I "really" come?
:: facing the truth ::
Is not always easy, nor is it gentle to side with at times.
In reality, we all have to come to terms...
As for me
these are the questions hanging over my shoulders-
What I am spending my time on?
What value do I hold with time?
Wish to paint more,why do I get distracted?
Keep quality not quantity readers, followers, and FB friends.
Where do I find and group together others who follow this same passion?
How does the "starving artist" support their creative habit?
:: In all honesty ::
I can not be every where, on the internet, and create artful work.
Can I round-up all of this networking and have it all in one place?
A safe place for all to gather?
A place of support, encouragement, and where inspiration is offered?

Mark the vacant place...
:: a shadow box ::
Felt so good to be back home... I really treasure my "creative space".
The one place I can completely be
:: ME ::
A place where I can play freely and let go of all my stress!
No rules... no time limit... just pure joy.
A place in which I honor myself.
A space where I hold all of my artful treasures...
Where my heart is filled with contentment.
How do you mark your vacant place?

The Hunt.
:: house hunting ::
There is so much to consider when deciding where you wish to live...
A place you want to call home.
These photos are but a few, of the houses we considered,
were worth being looked at.
We both want some space... room to breathe... and plenty of windows.
Everyone of these houses
had something we absolutely adored and a few things we could do without.
***
As we move out of California to get away from the fast-pace of the city life,
noise, the over populated areas and of coarse the pollution...
we are sticking firm to our desire of having some space
with plenty of peace and quiet.
***
This is only the beginning, of several more trips to the Pacific Northwest,
before we make our final decision.
Then the real work of packing begins!
Honestly, I am not looking forward to that part of the move.

Painting Complete
:: thoughts ::
carefully seeking out the process
Keeping the moment intact...
wrap it carefully round with being mindful.
In the dark, there are shadows...
of those who wish to have, without finding there own way.
Avoid all entanglements that it is impossible.
Become selfless to all of the elements.
Be ruthless to the order, which you have been told, is the only way to create.
Take into account...
:: this is your creation ::
Dare to have the courage to draw outline the lines.
