:: around here ::
 We are steadily packing away, getting ready for our move.
 Items are coming down from the attic, this one brought tears to my eyes...
ONE OF THE HAPPIEST DAYS OF MY LIFE!
finding Easter Eggs, well after the hunt is over...
spending precious moments with my grand baby...
story-time is so special.
Late night painting and  "squeezing" in all that I can... every moment counts.

tiny makings...

:: altered matchboxes ::
Great things are done by a series of small things brought together.
VINCENT VAN GOGH
Over a delightful afternoon. An altered matchbox project.
As I assembled each one... I put thought into, what I perceived to find important,
 to fill my "happy" little homes.
materials used for this project:
mini matchbox - acrylic paint - scrap papers
tacky glue - embellishments
It is very interesting to see what we value within our life, our home.
enjoy.

A place to call home...

:: matchbox ::
 a tiny little house.
Love begins at home, and it is not how much we do...
but how much love we put in that action.

color theory...

:: color wheel ::
back to the basics
Playing in my journal, using the elements of art... feels like visiting an old friend.
:: june art challenge ::
  ELEMENTS OF ART
During this monthly challenge, we are focusing on
incorporating one or more of these elements into our daily art.
:: join us ::
Why are the elements of art important?
The elements of art are very important, a person can't create art without utilizing at least a few of them.
No elements, no art, end of story!

  • color
  • value
  • line
  • shape
  • form

A little elbow room

:: onward ::
out growing our space...
It is in the loneliness that the deepest activities begin.
It is here in the silence that you discover act without motion.
Beyond all desire, a choice to grow...
a fulfillment to extending outside our space.
 Isn't it wonderful to have a little elbow room?
