What do you get from a cereal box...?

:: art journal book ::
Comes with all the alterations.
100 % guaranteed to make you smile!
No restrictions apply.
Simply bring your imagination... and explore the possibilities.
:::
 This is how an art journal makes me feel.
WHO ABOUT YOU?
:::
After all the Holiday cooking,
 I have plenty of paper bags and cereal boxes to last me awhile.
With that being said... to the art table I go...
:::
Honestly, I did not know how this journal would turn out.
I did not have a templet or design to guide me through the process.
I will state...
there is plenty of books, videos, DIY magazines, and Blogs by other artist,
that will help inspire you to create your own altered book.
Just as you see here.
I hope you enjoy mine, just as much as I enjoy sharing it with you.
The fabric tape I used along the side of the binding
you will find posted here .
You can manipulate the (paper bag) pages... I like that a lot.
:: enjoy ::
Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful,
or believe to be beautiful.

      I know the feeling... our Ralph's market, is doing the same thing;

  5. Oh la la this is sweet. I'd love to see it in person. Just fantabulous April!! This is what I did with a rat poison (sorry, out of desperation I have resorted to poison for the mice that have completely taken over the apartment that I live in. They are running rampant throughout the building, including in all of the walls and ceilings, etc.) box awhile ago. It was way fun making this and I do plan on exploring this (book making with junk) further. Happy New Year! *smiles* Norma, x

  6. Just lovely! I like the colors and the making something from 'junk' but that looks so darned great! I'm feeling.....the urge to splurge and make myself one! I don't have cereal boxes but I buy soda by the case and that's about the same weight of cardboard; I've been saving it wondering what to do with it....now I know!

  13. Wow, this comes out looking so great! Wonderful colors! I feel like when I try to use throwaway items, for a kind of "trash to treasure" project, my trash just shows through all of my efforts. Your results are marvelous!
