Hi! I really like your May calendar, especially the sponge squares (great idea!) and the randomness of your numbers! I like your style... Kathy ♥and thanks for visiting! It's very nice to meet you!
Thank you... lovely ladies! I am really enjoying this calendar challenge and meeting all you wonderful creative people :] Thank you for visiting my blog.
L-O-V-Y your "May", April! I agree with Paper Pumpkin - very clever to use the sponge squares for dates, and the random number give this piece awesome character! Thanks for stopping by for a peek at my "April"! Hugs, Terri
I love your may page, it's fabulous! Did you really sponge the squares for each day? I've had a closer look but I cant quite work it out! Love your random large numbers :-)
Wow, beautiful page! Love how you have done the squares, all the detail and texture on them and the different doodles, especially like the ones with the day written around the outside...it looks stunning x
Those sponged squares give a fantastic grungy feel to your page....also are the giant numbers important dates for you in May? Because thats a good idea too :D
Yes... I use a square sponge for the days of the week. The large random numbers are just to create balance. But, I like all your clever ideas about the numbers relating to special / important days :] Next month... I will incorporate that!
wow what a wonderful take on a page, I havent found your blog before - will be back to read some more when I have time to sit down with a nice cuppa, think I may be here sometime!!
This is great, never thought that *just* squares over a patterned paper could work so well, Valerie
ReplyDeleteI too, love the background paper! Very smart indeed. I will definately copy you(if okay:) I have so much paper...
ReplyDeleteWell done and wonderful!
