What are you waiting for...?
If you don't make art, someone else will. It's just that simple.

April, this place is always so encouraging and I just love it for that! Thank you very much for spreading the positive energy around! And the video - just shocking, so much to learn about parenting ;)

What a fun circle page! Who knew there were so many ways to make circles? And "there's no right way to go about it" is so true!
ReplyDeleteHello Terrie

I know right, who would of thought "circles", tons of them too. (LOL)
So true! LOVE the journal page of circles...one of my favorite shapes.
ReplyDeleteHello Janet
DeleteThank you. Glad you enjoyed the journal page! :]
I agree, "circles" are one of my favorite shapes too.
I only watched the beginning of the video, but can you imagine if we all had such a chance to play with paint so freely?!?! I would love to see my girls in a similar environment; I guess that's up to me, isn't it??
ReplyDeleteHello Andria
DeleteThank you for stopping by, love your company! :]
I am glad you enjoyed your visit.
I agree, when I saw this video I thought... if only I had a room like this for my children when they where young.
HECK!! if only "I" had a room like this when I was a kid!! (LOL)
Where would I be today...??
So true April. I've had a horrible day today and ate candy and chips for dinner while in a ball on the couch in response but the one thing I couldn't not do tonight was create something (and see what the rest of you have been creating). It's been such a relief and a release. Thank you for sharing your beauty my friend. xx
ReplyDeleteAwww...
DeleteLorinda I am sending you lots of ((hugs))
Gather up what you can, and let it move you.

My blog posts are here for you; to get inspired, to have the courage to draw outside the lines, and make art!!
What a WONDERFUL and inspiring video - thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteYour page is lovely, so bright and cheerful and I love all those circles.
Hello Jackie
DeleteSo wonderful to hear, you enjoyed the video. :]
Glad you like my journal page, thank you for the encouragement, always! ((hugs))
Enjoy...
Wonderful post April shared that video on Facebook..I can't tell you how many people say they have no artistic talent or can't make art cause their not good at it...you only have to try and have the intention of exploring.
ReplyDeleteYour page looks so free and lovely and inspiring. The little girl in the video has the same spirit and am so glad no one has told her not to make a mess, know what I mean? We should all be so loose and childlike in our work. I could certainly use some loosening up.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to get my grandson painting like that. I think he'd enjoy it. As soon as he stops eating the crayons and paint, I think we'll give it a try. ha-ha.
