journal spread

:: taking a step back ::
As life moves forward, taking a moment for ourself is important.
It's hard sometimes to take a step back and realize what's happened because you're always trying to move forward. 
You're always looking at the next palette.
This was a fun spread to create; using techniques and materials such as, 
stencils, collage, and vintage book-page scraps.
Enjoy a step back...
who knows what you might discover along the way!

    I love everything about this April! The yummy textures and colors in the background with the floating circles and how the sillouhette is all filled up with so many words! Love your art! Glad you are taking time for yourself!
