An Artist's Soap Box Life #2
During the alteration of this soap box,
I decided to completely cover it with aluminum foil.
Great effect!
I really like the ruff, textured look and feel of this one.
materials used to create this project:
soap box
aluminum foil
matte medium
acrylic paint
acrylic inks
corrugated cardboard (heart shape)
vintage book page (text)
window screen scraps (wings)
silver bead (embellishment)
wire (28 gauge)
I think we're all blessed with gifts and
I was lucky I just found out what mine was early on and
have planted that seed and tried to water it every day.

Enjoy the inspiration... I so love the texture too! :]
These make such sweet gifts.
Just beautiful! Love the colors and all the texture!!! Can't figure out where you found window screen scraps, unless it is a scrapbook thing. I'm assuming it is metal and all our window screens have smaller holes and are nylon or something. Anyways, I never thought of painting aluminum foil! Have to try that! Really great!
